Week 5: Outdoor Play Provocation Part 4 of 5 -- A Wild(crafted) Tea Party

Everyone got comfortably settled into their seats, and we brought out the treats we had prepared beforehand from our outdoor kitchen.

In addition to my little one's special dirt pudding cups (accompanied by some gummy worms because of course), there was also:

- Leftover chocolate bruschetta from a special rum and chocolate takeaway dinner we had done the night before;
- Mandarin orange segments for that yummy Vitamin C;
- A big pot of our wildcrafted tea blend; and
- A tray of delicious homemade biscuits, the double clotted cream, and our homemade rosehip jam.

Everyone talked and enjoyed all of their special treats, and then took turns reading some books with our tiny human that fit the theme of the day. Then she took control of that process, and read her own stories to us based on the imagery of her books.

The sun began to lower in the sky as we nibbled the last crumbs of our picnic, so we packed the dishes away and turned our attention to the final play provocation hidden in the trees at the edge of the woods.
