Week 5: Outdoor Play Provocation Part 3 of 5 -- Dirt and Worm Friends
The next part of her provocation involved digging in and playing in the dirt, as well as meeting some new worm friends who are seemingly everywhere this time of year. We needed a few cups of dirt for her final activity, and we more than accomplished our goals here over the next almost hour and a half of free play and exploration.

... and, of course, taking some time to go fishing in a mud puddle with her trusty stick for "big, big fish.'
We'd been playing outside for many hours at this point, and the sun was starting to get lower in the sky, so it was time for our wildcrafted tea party. The arrival of the grandparents brought everyone to the back porch for the next part of the festivities.
